An Edwardian silver heart-shaped vesta by Samuel M Levi, Birmingham 1906, with scrolling foliate decoration and vacant cartouche to one side, hinged cover with bale loop, 49mm x 42mm, weight 20.3gms
Overall condition is good. Lid opens smoothly and closes with a snap, however there is a slight gap around the lip (as if visible in the picture). There is a moderate amount of denting to the case, smaller ones to the front concentrated around the vacant cartouche, and larger ones to the reverse. No signs of splitting or repair.
