A CHINESE CARVED AND POLISHED ROCK CRYSTAL VASE. 19thc, the arrow shaped rock crystal vase with slender neck and lug handles, carved with a bird amongst foliage on each side and another animals, and with character marks to the neck. With an opening to the base, 19.5cms high
*Provenance, this vase has come from the Moorhead/Waud families and were part of collections originally owned by Robert Bradshaw Moorhead (1831-1903) and his son John Hercules Murray Moorhead (1859-1938). More family information is available.

small chip to the side of the foot, nibbles to the footrim and larger chips to the inner rim of the base (see images), chip to the underside of one handle, the other handle with a smaller nibble.
