Jan de Fouw (Dutch, 1929 –2015) The Song of Amhairghin (Amergin), a set of fourteen works with accompanying text Lithographs, 37 x 33cm each Signed, inscribed and numbered 4/12 Bound in original folio. This series of prints is based on the poems and myths attributed to Amergin Glúingel, a bard and judge for the Milesians in the Irish Mythological Cycle. He was appointed Chief Ollam of Ireland by his two brothers, the kings of Ireland. The Series was published in 2000 and exhibited in 2004 at the Metatron Art Gallery in Enniskerry.
