A late Victorian 18ct gold split pearl and diamond dress ring. The graduated split pearl line, with rose-cut diamond scalloped sides and openwork tapered shoulders. Hallmarks for Chester, 1896. Ring size M. Weight 3gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • The cut and setting of rose cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.

  • Split pearls are vari-shade, from pinkish yellowish white lustre, to greyish white lustre.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Nacre with significant damage.

  • Stamped 18.
