This 1964 Austin-Healey 3000 MK 3 Phase 2 was originally exported to France and then to the USA. Having been repatriated to the UK in 2004 the car was the subject of a complete, ground up, restoration by Merlin Classic Cars, Stockport and finished in 2006 (there is a portfolio of photographs with the car showing the restoration). The car has covered less than 4000 miles at the time of writing, and during this period the engine, gearbox and overdrive have been overhauled and rebuilt. The engine number plate came off during the rebuild and is now in the file. The car has been maintained by local reputable garages, i.e. Rawles Motor Sport and Pete Farmer Performance Racing.

The car is offered complete with a Heritage certificate and a history file comprising of old bills and previous MoTs. The servo was removed to give the car a better driving feel (racing Healeys don't use servo assistance) but the vendor still has the servo and all the pipes and it is a genuine, original Girling item.

Finished in Ice Blue with navy mohair hood, hood cover and tonneau cover, which are all like new, and equipped with a Moto-Lita steering wheel, the car is offered in exceptional condition, with the engine bay and underside as clean as the outside.
