Blue and white. A Chetham & Robinson 'Parkland Scenery' pattern meat platter. Early 19th century. Printed in underglaze blue with figures by a river with country house beyond. Printed mark 'Warranted C & R' to verso, 42cm x 31.5cm. Together with another meat plate decorated with figures on a river, printed mark 'Improved Wild Rose' to verso, plus an unmarked plate and two bowls marked 'Wild Rose Stoneware' in the same design, a John & Richard Riley 'Taymouth Castle Perthshire' plate, a Spode 'Castle' shallow bowl and plate with impressed marks, and two other blue and white plates (10).
