This 1997 Ginetta G27 type B race car was built by the factory and run by Wallace Motorsport for the then Top Gear presenter Vicky Butler-Henderson.

The car was purchased by the current owner in 2001, direct from the factory, a change in circumstances meant that the car was not raced but used only sparingly on the occasional track day since, with no use at all during the past two years. The vehicle has just completed 5 laps around the world famous Goodwood circuit showing amazing levels of grip and a scintillating turn of speed.

The specification of this Type B race car is as follows: two seater open top sport scar in lightweight GRP; jig formed tubular steel chassis with full roll cage; sealed Ford Zetec 1800cc High Power 150bhp engine running on twin Webber and mapped ignition and wet sump; 5 speed straight cut gearbox and TranX LSD; double wishbone coil-over adjustable shock absorber front suspension and 5-link coil over adjustable shock absorbers; 260mm vented front discs abd solid rears; 7Jx15" Compomotive MO1572 Alloys with ET 30 Dunlop Formula R 195/55 x 15 tyres. The weight is approximately 680 kgs

Included in the sale is a Brian James Minno trailer, fully galvanised complete with winch, long ramps, rear drop-down stabilisers, spare wheel and a fully covered marine ply floor.

Also included but not fitted are "Supertrapp" exhaust and sound trap, two headlamps and headlamp springs. An original Ginetta G27 construction guide is also included.
