Imported recently into the UK with all duties paid this car has since gone through an amazing transformation. The car has been modernised with the following works.

Front and rear suspension have been completely overhauled including new springs, upper and lower arms, shocks, sway bars, bushes, steering rack, front and rear disc brake conversion, brake booster, fuel tank and lines. The rear axle has also been overhauled and the car has new dual exhaust pipes which sound phenomenal. It's lowered by 3 inches in the front and 1 inch at the back. It comes with New 17 inch "Boyd Coddington" Rims and new tyres. The engine has also undergone a major top end overhaul benefiting from Cam Kit, Core plugs, Cam bearings, Main Bearings, Rod bearings, Piston Rings, Head Bolts, Oil Pump, All filters, chrome valve covers and Air Cleaner Cover, Water Pump, Fuel Pump, HEI Distributer and Leads and all gaskets. The engine is also complemented with New Edelbrock 2156 Manifold and Holly 600 Carbs. The heads have also been reconditioned. Cost of the engine overhaul alone was excess of £3500.00

This is an original California car that does did not have any rust with the exception of the boot floor which is a common issue but this has now been replaced with a new re-manafactured section. The body work has now gone through a complete bare metal respray and is beautiful . The interior is in great shape too with no rips or tears and the colour complements the exterior. With the front bench seat providing seating for six you can take five gals/buddies along for the ride too!

But the proof is really in the driving of this car. With performance drilled discs front and back it stops just as well as any modern sports saloon. The quick rack and power steering makes manoeuvres in town fast and easy this 17ft long beast flits through traffic like you wouldn't believe. Out on the open road there is none of the wallowing and bouncing of 1960's suspension, it's tied down to the road and inspires confidence. You could even surprise a few people on a track day!
