An early 20th century 18ct gold natural pearl and diamond cluster ring. The natural pearl, measuring approximately 8.6 by 8.4mms, with old-cut diamond marquise-shape surround. Verbal from GCS, stating natural, saltwater. Estimated total diamond weight 2 to 2.50cts. French assay marks. Ring size L1/2. Weight 7.6gms.

  • Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Discolouration focused to the shoulders and base of the head.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds generally with small light and dark inclusions under 10x magnification. Few appear to be surface reaching.
  • Pearl is a creamy, slightly yellowish white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.

  • Pearls in good to fair condition with some typical surface blemishes and minor nacre damage.

  • Length of ring head 3cms.
