An early 20th century 15ct gold amethyst and split pearl necklace. The circular-shape amethyst and split pearl floral cluster, with split pearl halo, similarly-set foliate drop and spacer, to the trace-link chain. Length of pendant 5.2cms. Length of chain 40cms. Weight 5.1gms.

  • Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Clasp does not fasten correctly, has been compressed out of shape, will require attention/ repair.
  • Clasp is noticeably discoloured.
  • Amethyst are a well matched, medium purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Amethyst are in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • The split pearls are a well matched greyish cream colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
  • The split pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
