CIRCLE OF DAVID TENIERS THE YOUNGER (1619-1690). COUNTRY LANDSCAPE WITH FIGURES CONVERSING. Country landscape with figures conversing, indistinctly inscribed on various old labels verso, oil on panel 25cm x 35cm (36cm x 46cm including frame).
The panel is bowed and has three cracks running from top to bottom and left to right within the composition. There is also evidence of severe craquelure along the top edge with surface dirt and discoloured varnish throughout, the work however does have good impasto in places.
