An early 20th century amethyst and diamond hinged bangle. Of openwork design, the circular-shape amethyst collet, with brilliant-cut diamond line sides and plain half-bangle. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Inner diameter 5.9cms. Weight 10.5gms.

  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Safety chain appears to be a later addition.
  • Diamonds well matched and fairly bright.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
  • Amethyst deep purple hue, well saturated, with good clarity, typical inclusions and detectable colour zoning.
  • Amethyst in good condition with minor abrasions.
