Chuck Elliott is a pioneer of digitally generated art and claims to have used the first
Apple Macintosh imported to the UK in 1984. Acquiring his own machine in 1989,
he’s been drawing, sculpting, editing and compositing digitally ever since, using
processes analogous to the way in which modern music is realised. Chuck Elliott is
reinterpreting the essence of abstract fine art printmaking for the digital age. As he
says: “Pure logical progression.” For auction is the artist’s proof of Vox Linea, a
digital drawing and a key piece in a series of works exploring the Fibonacci
sequence and its connection to the natural world.
