A 19th century tortoiseshell and pique rectangular aide memoire, inlaid in silver and gold coloured metal with leafy scrolls and diapers, crimson silk lined interior, 10.5cm long, c.1860
Exterior surface wear and tarnish. The tortoiseshell veneers with a light shrinking, thus gaps between them and the frame in places. However, displaying well overall. Some of the gilt mounts lacking on the front. The interior with some wear and splits. Please see attached images.
