A 1981 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II, registration number HTN 737W, pearlescent white. The revised Shadow II became available in 1977. There were several major revisions from the previous model, the most notable were rack and pinion steering and a modification to the front suspension which improved the handling substantially. Externally the most noteworthy changes were the fitting of impact rubber bumpers front and rear and a small chin spoiler. This well maintained and low mileage example (78000 miles) has been family owned since the early 80s. The Rolls-Royce was originally painted in blue, but has been resprayed in pearlescent white, which complements the maroon leather interior. The extensive history file contains all works carried out as and when the car has needed them. Recent expenditure has included a suspension and brake overhaul with rebuilt callipers at its most recent MOT, which it passed without any advisories. V5C, MOT to January 2020 See illustrations
