EARLY NINETEENTH CENTURY FIGURED MAHOGANY BOW FRONTED CHEST OF DRAWERS, the shaped top with crossbanded front edge, above two short and three long flame cut and cockbeaded drawers, fitted with brass ring handles with embossed back plates, and raised on splayed feet, 43 ½” (110.5cm) high, 41” x 21 ¾” (104.2cm x 55.3cm)
C/R- the top with losses to the veneer to the left edge and front left corner, minor splits and piece let in the middle of the back edge, full length split to the left side, and with lifting to the banding near the base, the right side with section of the banding, near the base, missing, and another section lifted, the front is faded and with the usual losses to the veneer in between the drawers, mainly to the joints to the uprights, usual rubbing and surface scratching
