Two men of this name on the medal roll, this to Richard Robinson L.M. on Albion and a Syria to a Pte. R.M. on PCSS CHARLOTTE, which was sold in Glendinings in 1903. Albion was part of the combined British-French-Russian fleet under the command of Admiral Codrington at the Battle of Navarino, where a Turkish-Egyptian fleet was obliterated, securing Greek independence. Albion suffered 10 killed and 50 wounded during the battle.
