A rare Chinese gold- and silver-inlaid bronze 'Ding' censer with Taotie design on a hongmu stand, Shaosheng and Su Zhe mark, Song or later

Weight: 3678 grams

The underside of the censer is inlaid with a dated inscription: 'Imperial silver-inlaid bronze censer, dated to the second year of the Shaosheng reign of the Great Song dynasty (1095), second month of spring. Weight: ten jin. Supervised in Shu by the court official Su Zhe.'.
