A large and heavy late 17th Century style hallmarked silver lidded Tankard produced to mark the occasion of the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth 12th May 1937, given with the compliments of the Master, Wardens and Court of Assistance of The Cloth workers' Company, engraved with a coat of arms and the inscription ''The Guilt of Francis and Mary Burton, 1684'' presentation inscription also to underside and dated 1937, makers mark of Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company, London, assayed London 1837, approx. 20cm high (to tip of animal finial), approx. 1,125g, together with original card detailing the gift
