An early 20th century 15ct gold opal and diamond hinged bangle. The alternating oval opal cabochon and old-cut diamond line, with scrolling gallery, to the knife-edge half-bangle. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Inner diameter 5.7cms. Weight 10.4gms.

  • Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Two side diamonds with visible dark inclusions, one with large chip to the girdle to crown facet.
  • Opals are in good condition, well matched, with good play of colour, flashes in a range of hues, with minor surface scratches.
