A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Vase, Made for the Islamic Market - A Chinese blue and white porcelain vase. This bottle vase features a flattened globular body with a tapering, fluted neck and a flared, cup-like rim. The main body is decorated with panels outlined by thin blue lines, each containing large floral motifs in underglaze cobalt blue, depicting plum blossoms on one side and chrysanthemums or peonies on the other. A dense scrolling floral band adorns the shoulder, while the neck features horizontal stripes and smaller floral elements. The base shows an unglazed foot rim with a glazed interior, and the underside is decorated with radiating lines and scrolling foliage.
