A late Victorian majolica motto jug, 'What Tho My Oates Be Poor Take Them in Good Part', tapering relief moulded form and decorated in brown, yellow and blue glazes within circling bands, base impressed Wedgwood, with later silver plated lid and collar, the finial a lion rampant with a vacant shield, engraved detailing, 26cm.
