An Edwardian 18ct gold diamond and gem-set snake ring. Designed as a coiled snake, with old-cut diamond crown and circular-shape red-gem eyes. Hallmarks for Chester, 1908. Ring size R. Weight 5.8gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Head worn with a small patch of original texture remaining.

  • Diamond bright.

  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Size and setting of red-gems prevents conclusive identification.

  • Diamond in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Red gems in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
