An assembled group of Coalport, 19th and early 20th centuries, comprising a teacup and saucer, circa 1820, pattern 830, nicely decorated in polychrome with small flower arrangements within gilt hatched panels, saucer 14.5cm diameter; a set of three dark blue batwing demitasse coffee cups and saucers; a pair of green and floral hand-coloured candlesticks, printed green marks, 13cm high; a large tankard and two jugs, printed with earlier Caughley-style prints in underglaze blue, tankard 12.5cm high; a green and floral cream jug, pattern Y5772, retailers marks for T. Goode & Co (London), 11cm high; plus a breakfast muffin dish and cover, painted with flowers by F. Howard, artist signed, likewise retailed by T. Goode, base diameter 22.5cm; a small circular trinket pot and cover, painted with flowers, unmarked, 8.5cm diameter; a large rectangular serving dish, circa 1820, painted with red crysanthemum and scrolling gilt foliage, unmarked, 25cm wide; sold together with a large New Hall saucer dish, decorated in the Imari palette with two exotic, long-tailed birds in a garden setting, unmarked but pattern 1681, 22cm diameter, and a pair of door finger plates, painted with crysanthemums, 29.5cm long, etc (qty, two trays) Provenance: The C.R. Pilkington Collection, exhibited at the Coalport China Works Museum. Condition:Pattern 830 teacup and saucer - Saucer crazed. Demitasse cups and saucers - two saucers crazed Pair of candlesticks - Crazing to the bases, some wear to gilt on sconces Smaller Caughley print jug - crack near spout, crazed throughout Red crysanthemum serving dish - cracked T. Goode retailed cream jug - some glaze crazing throughout Trinket pot - some glaze nibbles to underside of the rim Muffin dish - Some crazing lines to the stand and underside of the cover
