A pair of late 19th or early 20th Century Meissen porcelain figural sweetmeat dishes, modelled as gallant and companion, wearing floral decorated 18th century costume, each recumbent beside a floral encrusted and painted ogee shaped bowl, on gilt heightened rococo scroll base, underglaze blue crossed swords, impressed mark and inscribed 2872 and 2875, width 17cm.
Lady has crack to foot and teo loss to other, gentleman has chipped foot and loss to thumb .
