Bayonet - a speculative VTC Commercial Pattern Bayonet for the Volunteer Training Corps. These bayonets were made by mounting a P'07 blade with an 1888 Pattern Hilt. No scabbard. Example in cataloguers collection is unmarked standard P'07 blade 16.5" MRD 14mm. This example is unmarked standard P'07 blade 17" MRD 16mm. Grinding marks to ricasso and edge of blade. These Bayonets were made by the Birmingham Gun Trade in a unique steel scabbard for sale to the VTC. Sold as Seen
