A set of mid 20th century diamond and gem-set jewellery. The cultured pearl and rose-cut diamond floral necklace, with oval turquoise cabochon spacers and fringe, to the seed pearl back-chain and floral clasp, with similarly-designed earrings. Stamped K18. Length of necklace 52.5cms. Length of earrings 3.2cms. Weight 59.7gms.

More Information

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds fairly well matched.
  • Cut, individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Few diamonds chipped.
  • At least some seed pearls appear to be replacements. Two seed pearl deficient to the cheain, near the clasp. Further seed pearls with glue visible to the mounts.
  • Seed pearls fairly well matched, whitish hue, good lustre.
  • Turquoise are a well matched very slightly greenish blue hue. Some dark matrix visible, mostly to sides and reverse.
  • Earrings with hinged post fittings for non-pierced ears.
