The 4th keeper was a Miss JP Saunders in Grantham that acquired the 328 GTS in April 1988, it was then sold 11 months later we believe for a premium in the late 80’s boom for circa £100,000. The current keeper Mr JJ Cowley from Chorley acquired the vehicle in March 1989 and has owned it ever since. The car was used only a handful of times and remained parked in the garage for many years due to Mr Crowley’s illness. The car was then serviced at Classic Car Workshop in September 2014 at 18,830 miles where it had a cam belt and service. It was then serviced on 17.10.17 at 19,079 in preparation for sale. The 328 GTS is supplied with the original leather wallet with the original service book, owners manual and Sales and Service Organisation book, original tool kit and spare wheel.

The 328 GTS has recently gone through a service at Service Amari with a full polish and detail. It's very clean and genuine 328 which is rare considering it's an early car. The 328 being one of the modern classics this car has all the attributes, having the key specification for a excellent investment opportunity. With pop up lights, 5 speed manual box, V8 - also, this car was made in the era of when Ferrari Enzo was alive which is now obsolete in new Ferrari models.

The Ferrari 328 GTB and GTS (Type F106) was the successor to the Ferrari 308 GTB and GTS. While largely based on the 308 GTB and GTS respectively, small modifications were made to the body style and engine, including an increase in engine displacement to 3.2 L (3185 cc). 7,400 Ferrari 328s were produced by the time the model was replaced by the new 348 in 1989, bringing the total for the 308/328 generation to nearly 20,000. The 328 is considered by some Ferrari enthusiasts to be one of the most reliable Ferraris; unlike some models, most engine maintenance can be performed without lowering the engine from the vehicle.

The GTB referred to the Gran Turismo Berlinetta (coupé) body while the GTS was a Gran Turismo Spider (targa top). In 1985, the 328 retailed from £43,999.37

The 328 GTS model, together with the fixed roof 328 GTB, were the final developments of the normally aspirated transverse V8 engine 2-seater series. The 328 figures in the model title referred to the total cubic capacity of the engine, 3.2 litres, and 8 for the number of cylinders. The new model was introduced at the 1985 Frankfurt Salon alongside the Mondial 3.2 series.
