A ruby and cultured pearl three-stone ring. The oval-shape ruby, with cultured pearl sides and openwork gallery. Ring size R. Weight 5.9gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Ruby cloudy pinkish-red, well and fairly well saturated, with profuse inclusions which significantly affect the passage of light through the stone, some of which are surface reaching.

  • Cultured pearls white, with pink overtones, and good lustre.

  • Ruby in in fair to poor condition with minor abrasions to facet and girdle edges, surface reaching inclusions can be seen easily with the naked eye, some of which may result in future durability issues.

  • Cultured pearls in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
