An early 20th century 18ct gold and platinum, synthetic ruby and diamond ring. Designed as a square-shape synthetic ruby and single-cut diamond rectangular chequerboard panel, with tapered shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Ring size N. Weight 4.3gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Some damage to the gallery. Metal split at either side.
  • Appears to have been recently polished to a high finish.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with some small light inclusions under 10x magnification, same surface reaching.
  • Synthetic rubies are a well matched medium slightly pinkish red hue, well saturated.

  • Synthetic rubies in good to fair condition with minor to moderate abrasions.

  • Stamped 18ct & Plat.
  • Length of ring head 2cms.
