AN LOVELY EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER PURSE, with a chain & finger ring attached, the purse decorated to the front with bright cut engraving of flowers, leaves & a ribbon to the top. The purse is hinged to the end & has a two ball twist clasp to the top; opening reveals the leather lined & compartmented interior. Birmingham hallmarks, date letter of ‘U’ for 1919, maker’s mark is present but a little rubbed; possibly H & H Ld which is Hasset & Harper LTd. Weight: 2.5ozt. Dimensions: 10 x 8 x 2cm (W x H x D – not including chain).
