Cast in bronze and modelled as a long-horned grasshopper shown in a naturalistic standing pose. The figure is finely detailed, with elongated antennae extending forward in a sweeping arc, slender articulated legs, and carefully defined wing covers resting along the body. The thorax and abdomen are subtly segmented, with surface modelling that captures the texture and structure of the insect.
