A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Dish with Iron-Red Dragons, Qing Dynasty Mark.

The dish is painted in rich underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron-red, featuring a central dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl, set against a dense wave ground. The cavetto is encircled with five further iron-red dragons amidst swirling blue clouds, the energetic composition continuing onto the exterior. The base bears a six-character Da Qing Zhengde nian zhi (Great Qing Zhengde period make) mark enclosed within double circles, The base bears a six-character Kangxi mark enclosed within double circles, possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
