A Chinese White Metal Enamel Miniature Teapot with Cabochon Inlays.
A small Chinese white metal miniature teapot, circular in form, with a domed lid surmounted by a central cabochon finial. The body is encircled by evenly spaced, raised circular settings inset with deep red cabochon stones. The exterior surface is decorated with applied enamel floral and foliate motifs in green and blue tones, arranged in vertical sprays between the stone settings. One side features a short spout, while the opposite side is fitted with a curved handle accented with blue and yellow enamel details. The base is flat and decorated with a geometric key-fret border surrounding an incised square seal mark at the centre.
