A cased set of six silver and enamel coffee spoons, Henry Clifford Davis, Birmingham 1953, each oval bowl with shell backs and polychrome enamel decoration, plain polished handle with coffee bean finials, each 9.8cm long

Four examples show chipping/loss to the enamel - see pictures for illustration. All examples show scratching and wear to the surface of the enamel commensurate with age and use. Bowls in good order, some light denting to some examples around the borders, but no other signs of thinning or splitting. Handles in good order, so show slight bending, no thinning, splitting, or signs of repair. Three examples show extensive crazing and cracking to the bean finials. Two examples are loose on the stems. Several show signs of glue residue around the beans. See pictures for illustration.
