A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, QUEENS PARK WORKS, 23674, 1927, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4505 which became BR 44505. It spent all its BR days at Workington from where it was withdrawn in September 1965 and sold for scrap to Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Co at Wishaw. Cast brass, 15½"x6¼", the end points repaired and the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
