A pair of 1970s 14ct gold synthetic ruby and dyed chalcedony cufflinks. Each designed as two, textured cylindrical bars, with synthetic ruby and dyed chalcedony cabochon terminals and connecting belcher-link chain. Import marks for Sheffield, 1979. Length of cufflink face 3.1cms. Weight 18.8gms.

More Information

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Synthetic ruby a medium slightly pinkish red hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Synthetic ruby in good condition with minor nibbles to the surface, one with chip to side.

  • Dyed chalcedony a medium slightly bluish green hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Dyed chalcedony in good condition with some abrasion and chips to the surface.
