1926 Australia to England flight by Alan Cobham, cover to Bulloch Brothers & Co in London with typed inscription "By kind favour of Major Alan Cobham" franked by KGV 1a pair, the reverse sealed with a large label of Bulloch Bros & Co Ltd Akyab, posted by Cobham upon arrival in London franked ½d + 1d, the G.B and India stamps all cancelled by datestamps of "THE HYDE S.O. N.W" (Oct 2). A fine and very rare cover from Burma; only a tiny number of covers from Burma and India unofficially carried by Cobham for friends, including one cover from Calcutta to King George V.
