Condition - EF except a couple of edge knocks.
Not entitled to clasp - roll states "sent back sick from [river] Prah 21.1.74". Blackened lettering. Copy service papers - Woodcock was born in Hougham, near Dover and enlisted in Nov. 1870. ex East Kent Militia. Discharged in Cork in 1881, unfit for further service; character "Bad - addicted to drink and absence". (several times noted as absent and in confinement).
