An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond ring. The vari-shape sapphire graduated line, with old-cut diamond double spacers and openwork gallery. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Hallmarks for Chester, 1911. Ring size N1/2. Weight 3.6gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Sapphires slightly patchy medium blue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds bright.

  • Some light coloured inclusions can be seen to some diamond fairly easily under magnifications.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
