A large and rare Whitefriars architectural rectangular fused glass panel attributed to Paul Jeffries, circa 1969-75, formed of three individual square panels fused and overlaid as one, the colours predominantly blue, red and amber, decorated with abstract shapes, housed in an oak frame, panel 90cm x 28.5cm, overall 100cm x 36cm (some slight cracks to glass) *A similarly fused smaller panel sold at Neales (Nottingham) on 24th March 2005. The London Museum also houses an irregular panel, which they state was possibly designed by Paul Jeffries for the Whitefriars Glass showroom to illustrate the kinds of coloured and textured architectural glass that the firm began to supply to architects from 1969.
