1/8th Scale model of a 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom II
Offered here is a large 1/8 scale model of the 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Torpedo by Pocher of Italy. This hand-built model represents the Thrupp and Maberly bodied Open Tourer, built for the Maharaja of Rajkot and known as 'The Star of India'. Fitted within a display case, this model was displayed in the Stratford-upon-Avon Motor Museum next to the original vehicle. It is finished with silver wings and bonnet, (to represent the polished aluminium of the original) and orange coachwork and complete with driving gloves on the seat. This is described by the vendor as a stunning model with a very detailed engine bay and full chassis detail.
