An Edwardian 9ct gold demantoid garnet and diamond hinged bangle. The circular-shape demantoid garnet and rose-cut diamond cross motif inset, to the scrolling panel with cannetille surround, to the plain half-bangle. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1906. Inner diameter 6.4cms. Weight 10.3gms.

  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Wear to the silk finish.
  • Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight, colour or clarity estimation.
  • Garnets are a bright green, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
  • Garnets in fair condition with some abrasion and small nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
  • One garnet cracked in middle.
