A Chinese Iron Red and Gilt 'Dragon and Clouds' Porcelain Bowl with Six Character Marks to the Base.
The exterior of the bowl is finely decorated with five-clawed imperial dragons executed in gilt, writhing among stylized clouds on a rich iron-red ground. The bowl rests on a short foot with an unglazed base rim, and the base bears a blue six-character seal mark, possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
