There is a 22% commission fee added to the hammer price on any lot bought from Shelby’s Auctioneers LTD.
All items successfully bid on must be paid for either by bank transfer or on collection in person,items bid on are legally binding and are to be paid for.
please ring the auction room to arrange to pay your bill as easy live do not take the payment.
We will pursue any payment not made for items bid on in the online auction as you have entered a legally binding contract by bidding for those items and will incur a ban if not paid for.
Shelby’s Auctioneers Ltd reserve the right to dispose of the remaining items by sale or donation if the items have been left for longer than 7 days.
We do not accept any responsibility for items left on the premises after the close of the auction.
ABSENTEE BIDS must be entered on to the provided BIDDING FORM and fully completed before given to a member of staff. Please remember to telephone on Wednesday Morning to see if you were successful on any item / items you were bidding on (0113 2502626).
ALL GOODS PURCHASED MUST BE CHECKED BEFORE LEAVING THE AUCTION HOUSE AS DISCREPANCIES CANNOT BE RESOLVED ONCE THEY HAVE LEFT THE PREMISES.
NO REFUNDS GIVEN ONCE ITEMS HAVE LEFT THE PREMISES.
ALL DAMAGES/BREAKAGES must be paid for. The compensatory amount is either the reserve or whichever is the higher amount.
ALL JEWELLERY items in the cabinets may be fully inspected by any prospective purchaser, only one item at a time and no acid testing allowed WE HAVE A NO RETURN POLICY once you have left the premises.
Shelby’s Auctioneers Limited take no responsibility for any damages or contents left in vehicles that are left in any of the car parking areas.
We regret that children under the age of FOURTEEN will NOT be admitted. Children between the ages of FOURTEEN and EIGHTEEN must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during viewing times.
WE DO OFFER SHIPPING OF ITEMS BUT TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LOTS WON ONCE THEY HAVE LEFT THE PREMISES WE DO HAVE A SHIPPING DISCLAIMER FORM.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY TO ANY MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC.
we are able to ship smaller items on request for you but please ring or email us for this service.
we will ask you to look over the shipping disclaimer that will be emailed over to you.
we will take no responsibility of items that get damaged via courier service.
if the parcel gets lost we will sort this out with the courier company but take no responsibility for the loss of the parcel and will not be refunding the lost goods.
there is a minimum charge added on top of the packing for our services of the shipping and packing the amount varies on what the items are.
