The catalogue contains a Lot no, Description and Estimate for each lot. The description is for guidance only and as some items are of an age or nature that
means they may not be in perfect condition, we advise you to examine items yourself before the auction starts. V iewing times are shown on the front of the
catalogue. All items are offered for sale as viewed and are sold as seen. The auctioneer does not take responsibility for origin or estimated price. All items
are sold without any warranty or claim as to its suitability or fitness for its apparent purpose so as a prospective Buyer, you should use your judgement. All sales are final and no refunds are given.

Once registered (free of charge) your bidding number is on the card supplied, please keep it safe. To bid on an item, simply hold up your paddle to catch the
attention of the Auctioneer. He will indicate who is leading the bidding for the item. The Auctioneer has complete discretion as to the increments/amounts by
which bidding increases.

Some items have a reserve price. Where necessary, the Auctioneer will protect the reserve on an item and use his discretion up to 10%. If this price is not
reached, the Auctioneer will record the item as unsold and move on to the next item.

The highest bidder as determined by the Auctioneer is the Buyer. He will ask for the Buyer's bidding number, to record who secured the bid. The Auctioneer
has absolute discretion to settle any dispute that may arise and to refuse bids or to advance the bidding as seen fit. His decision is final.

This is the commission paid to the auctioneer by the Buyer over and above the highest bid value (often referred to as the Hammer Price) of each item.

We offer an online bidding service via and for bidders who cannot attend the sale. In completing the bidder registration on or and providing your credit/debit card details, you authorise Villa Hall Auctions to charge the card given in full payment including all fees and shipping costs for items successfully purchased in the auction. You also confirm that you are authorised to provide these credit/debit card details and agree that we are entitled to ship the goods to the card holder name and card holder address provided in fulfilment of the sale. Please note that any lots purchased via live auction service will be subject to an additional 3% + VAT commission charge imposed on the hammer price in addition to the Buyers Premium of 15%. A deposit of £100 may be taken at our discretion for online bidders, this deposit will be refunded if no purchase is made.

You are welcome to pay by cash, cheque accompanied by a cheque guarantee card sufficient to cover the total cost of your purchase(s), electronic bank
transfer, or by debit/credit card. As the Buyer, you only take ownership of the item once full payment is made (in the case of cheque payment, this is not
until the cheque has cleared). We reserve the right to hold on to items paid for by cheque until the cheque has cleared. Please note, once the Auctioneer has
determined yours to be the winning bid, a legal contract is created and you are obliged to pay for the item. If a Bidder fails to pay for an item, the Auctioneer
reserves the right to cancel the sale and re-sell the item(s) won. The Auctioneer can also proceed against the Buyer for breach of contract. So please only bid up to the amount you are prepared to pay and make sure you allow for the 15% Buyer’s Premium.

You may pay and collect your items whilst the auction is in progress provided that the items can be moved without disruption. Please hand your stamped
receipt to a member of staff. Please pay for and collect your items at the close of the Auction. Any items left uncollected after 5 working days will be charged
storage at £5 per lot per day, these charges will need to be paid to the storage provider before goods can be released, items will remain in storage for
7 days after which Villa Hall Auctions reserve the right to dispose of them.

If you would like to bid for an item, but can't be here when it is auctioned, we are happy to bid on your behalf. Simply register for a bidding number with us, if
you have not already done so, then complete the Absentee/Commission bidding form, stating the maximum you are prepared to bid. You can also bid over the telephone for lots estimated over £20, or in advance by e-mail, please ask for details. We will then bid for you, up to your maximum, attempting to secure the item at the lowest required to beat all other bids. After the auction, we will contact you to advise you of the outcome. If you secure the lot, we will arrange collection and payment with you.

If placing a commission bid or bidding by telephone for an item that will you will require shipping, please ask us in advance of bidding for the cost of packing
& shipping. This cost will be at your expense.

A commission charge of 15% of the hammer price will be deducted from the selling price (min. £5 per lot). A cataloguing and photography fee of £2.00
per lot will also be charged. In the event a lot is withdrawn prior to sale, a charge of £25 or 5% of the reserve (whichever the greater) will be levied.

Villa Hall Auctions only accept certain electrical items, by law these will need to be tested for safety, this will incurr a charge of £2.50.

Unsold lots will be entered into the next available auction under the same terms and conditions, and thereafter remaining unsold we will contact you to
arrange collection. Collection must be within 5 days beyond which point goods will be moved to storage for which charges will be levied at the rate of £5 per
lot per day via a third party storage provider, after 7 days Villa Hall Auctions reserve the right to dispose of these goods. The vendor warrants to Villa Hall
Auctions that he/she is the true owner of the property or has written authorisation from the true owner to sell the property. A cheque for the proceeds of the sale less all applicable charges will be mailed to the seller within 21 days after the auction date - provided that Villa Hall Auctions has received full payment from the buyer(s).
We will pack small items that will fit into an A4 Jiffy Bag, for a £12.00 charge (UK only). This will be sent by The Royal Mail special delivery service up to 1kg and £1000.
