Registration Deadline
Please note that registration at your earliest convenience is advisable. All registrations for remote bidding must be received by 5pm on Monday 24th March 2025. After you have submitted your remote bidding pack we will write to you to confirm that you're all set to bid. Bidding can be done via telephone, online or by placing a proxy bid with the auctioneer. Anti-Money Laundering Regulations
All bidders will be required to provide by email to the agents on property@hjpugh.com a copy of their photographic identification and proof of address prior to their registration being approved.
Contract of sale
All bidders will be required to provide a signed copy of the contract either by hard copy or scanned original via email to property@hjpugh.com prior to their registration being approved. The signed contract will be required for further completion at the fall of the hammer at which point the contracts will be exchanged between the parties for completion within 28 days.
TO BE ELIGIBLE TO BID IN PERSON, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO:
• Provide 2 forms of ID for any named purchasers.
• Pay 10% deposit of the hammer price on the night if you are the successful bidder.
• Make payment of deposit either by BACS or cheque and be able to provide proof of funds. Cash and card payments are not accepted.
• Sign & Exchange contracts on the evening of the auction.
• Complete within 28 days of the auction date (unless otherwise specified in the auction pack)
As well as being live at The Plymouth Suite, Ludlow Racecourse, Bromfield, Ludlow, Shropshire, SY8 2BT , we will be hosting the auction online and we can also offer the option to telephone bid.
Should you wish to bid online you will need to register with Easy Live Auction approx. a week before the auction.
FOR ONLINE OR TELEPHONE BIDDING WE WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING NO LATER THAN THE DAY BEFORE THE DATE OF THE AUCTION.
1. Photo id and proof of address received via email for any named purchasers (these need to be separate documents for example a passport & utility bill)
2. We are in receipt of signed contract which can be found in the property auction pack.
3. Evidence that funds are available to you, should you be successful.
4. As a 10% deposit of the hammer price will be expected to be paid on the evening of the auction via bacs transfer into our clients account (see details below). You will be required to set up Pughs as a payee contact with your bank and evidence of this sent to us.
