All Lots are sold as seen and you are deemed to have viewed and satisfied yourself as to age, condition and authenticity of the lot. Please speak to a member of staff for any advice.
No warranty or guarantees are given.
All descriptions are as accurate as possible and where there is a fault, we will endeavour to notify such with A/F in the description. Adequate viewing will be provided. Viewing for on-line auction lots can be viewed at Acorn Auction via appointment as well as online. All electrical items whether shown as working or not are SOLD AS SCRAP and we highly recommend that they are checked by a qualified electrician before use.
Sellers will be required to complete a seller’s declaration form, confirming the items to be sold are either theirs or to be sold by the owners. All items entered are at the seller’s risk and Acorn Timed Auctions are NOT responsible for any items whilst in there possessions. The seller will be paid by either cheque or cash 7 days after the sale, subject to the buyer having paid for the lot. Unsold items must be collected within 7 days of the end of the sale unless otherwise agreed. Sellers will be charged a £2.50 per lot lotting fee (sold or un-sold) plus 12.5% of the hammer price.
£1.75 minimum commission will apply thereafter, 17.5 % of the hammer price.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Full payment (including any shipping charges) is requested on completion of the auction. Payment methods are cash, credit/debit cards (No charge for use) or bank transfer. Collection of items. You may collect 7 days a week via appointment from Acorn Auction between the hours of 10-4pm. All purchases must be collected within 5 days (unless by prior arrangement).
Online Bidding Fee
We offer an online bidding service via easyliveauction.com for bidders who cannot attend the sale.
Please note that any lots purchased via easyliveauction.com live auction service will be subject to an additional 3% commission charge + VAT at the rate imposed on the hammer price or no commission for the internet bidding if the ‘Flat Fee’ has been chosen at registration.
Although we would prefer you to collect the items you have won, postage or delivery will be based on individual items by prior agreement. Items that we will not post will collection only in the description. Please contact us the following day of the sale ending for a postage quote. All items that are posted will be tracked and signed for. Postage costs will include packing and packaging. All items posted will be at the liability of the buyer and once posted we accept no responsibility. A local delivery service is available on larger items. Please enquire for a quote, which is advisable before bidding.
