We accept cash, bank transfer or debit & credit cards. Please Note: We are unable to take card payments over the phone, so if you are unable to come and pay in person at the auction house and need an item shipping out, then the only payment option available is bank transfer. Bank details are on the invoice you will receive once the auction has ended.
If you do not pay & collect within the collection times (Monday 9th March 9am - 3pm, Tuesday 10th March 9am -3pm, Wednesday 11th March 9am - 3pm, Thursday 12th March - CLOSED, Friday 13th March 9am -3pm, Saturday 14th March 9am - 1pm) then the items will be re-offered and you may be banned from future auctions.
Shipping is available on all small lots, please contact us for a quote prior to bidding. We can post out breakables at the buyers risk, please bare this in mind when bidding as we will not be able to assist if your parcel is delivered damaged. All breakables will be bubble wrapped.
We do not have a dedicated packing team, so please allow up to 21 days after the auction for your parcel to be dispatched.
Royal Mail small parcels from £6.25, Courier parcel delivery from £15.00 to £25.00 per parcel up to 15kgs. Dependant on how much packaging is required for the contents of the parcel.
Postage prices are calculated based on volume, weight, packaging materials and time to pack the contents of each parcel. Plus the courier costs to send.
Postage prices we allocate and the courier service we select are decided by us, not the customer.
Third party courier collections are fine as long as the customer lets us know by email when the courier will be collecting (within our allocated collection times) their order and providing the order has been paid for before collection.
This is a timed auction, lots start ending from 1pm with a 30 second gap between each lot ending. All electrical, mechanical and battery items are sold as untested unless stated in the description.
The buyer to be the highest bidder who will pay the hammer price plus a commission charged at 12%. Plus Easy Live Auction's registration 3% internet surcharge. Total commission 15%.
In the case of a dispute the lot may be re-offered at the auctioneers discretion. The auctioneers discretion is final. The auctioneer reserves the right to cancel the sale of any lot whilst the item is still on the premises.
Each buyer/bidder is required to register with the auction house prior to bidding at the auction by providing their name, address, telephone number and email address. Also, a delivery address if required. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the details registered are correct at all times.
All purchases must be paid for in full before the items are removed from the premises. If you are paying by bank transfer this needs to be cleared funds before items are removed. If you win an item and require the item shipping to you, then the only payment option available to you is bank transfer only. Third party courier collections are accepted providing the collection takes place within our stated collection times for the relevant auction and payment has been received.
Payments accepted at the auction rooms when you collect your items are by cash, debit cards, credit cards (no surcharge) and bank transfer (bank transfer payments must be cleared before items are removed). We do not take card payments over the phone. We do not accept cheques.
The auctioneers will NOT be responsible for any loss, damage or injury on the premises. There is FREE parking on site and again we will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained in the car park or in the auction rooms.
All descriptions, estimates, starting prices, reserves, imagery and condition reports are at the auctioneers discretion. It is the buyers responsibility to examine lots to determine condition before bidding on the item as no refunds will be issued after the fall of the hammer. If you would like to request a viewing, then this is by appointment only. A condition report can be requested via email.
Commission bids are accepted by Treasure Chest Auctions where the auctioneer will proxy bid on your behalf.

All electrical, mechanical and battery items are sold as untested (unless stated). Items may be stated as being sold as spares/repairs, untested or A/F (as found) in the description.
Treasure Chest Auctions offer Royal Mail small parcels & Hermes, DPD, Parcelforce courier deliveries on all small auction lots throughout the UK and worldwide. We will select the courier at our discretion.
Treasure Chest Auctions offer a FREE house clearance service for all saleable items. We only charge the customer for waste or unsaleable items. Contact us for more information. In some instances we will pay for the items the customer wants to clear. We cover all of North Yorkshire, most of West Yorkshire, and parts of Lancashire.
All lots purchased must be collected within the allocated collection times as stated above following the auction on the Sunday.
Failure to collect within these times will result in the items being re-offered. We do not store items for customers past the final collection time. Failure to pay and collect your items before the deadline following the relevant auction will result in us blocking you from bidding in our future auctions, which may also affect your registrations with other auction houses.
Treasure Chest Auctions do not take on any vendors for our auctions. All items offered in the auctions are solely offered by Treasure Chest Auctions. This allows us to sell items with no reserves and low starting prices with no instruction from vendors meaning there are many opportunites to grab a bargain and with only 15% commission.
UK mainland postage is via Royal Mail, Hermes, DPD or Parcel Force. Courier service selected at our discretion.
