2021 MONTHLY AUCTIONS
While our doors may be closed because of Level 5 Covid-19 restrictions, we are still open for business. Our monthly auctions continue through 2021 as a 48-hour online event with our selling partners www.easyliveauction.com. Lots can be viewed online from the Friday week before each auction. Bidders should follow the EasyLiveAuction link on O'Reilly's website and register to bid.
Bids can be placed in the 48 hours from 1.00 pm on the Wednesday that the monthly auction starts (eg 24th March, 21st April, 19th May...). Bids can start at the lower of the two guide prices (the reserve) up to your top "walk away" price. The system will only use as much of your maximum bid to get you started or to outbid other bidders. Lots will close to further bidding from the Friday of the auction (eg 29th Jan, 26th Feb, 26th March...) from 1.00 pm onwards, at the rate of one lot every half minute (eg by 2 pm lots 1 to 120 will have closed to further bids).

BIDS PLACED ONLINE constitutes a legal contract to buy and CANNOT BE CANCELLED once entered.

We will offer virtual viewings by appointments for any lots you wish to get more details on. Condition reports and further photos/video requests will continue to be available by phoning or emailing the office. Shipping by tracked insured post - see below

BUYERS FEES
O’Reilly’s successful bidders will pay a buyer's fee of 18.50% (incl. 23% VAT) on the hammer price plus the easyliveauction.com internet surcharge of 3.69% (inclusive of 23% Vat). This brings the TOTAL FEES TO 22.19% all-in.

SHIPPING and COLLECTION
All purchasers from our auction are asked to do a bank transfer or pay by debit card over the phone, once they receive the invoice from O'Reillys Auction Rooms. This is emailed to you the Monday after the auction. Collection from the office strictly by appointment after completed payment. We ask that you please follow the government guidelines on restrictions of travel.

We use tracked insured post for lots up to €3,000 to Ireland & Great Britain. Most lots weigh under 500 grams and cost €12 to Ireland, €20 to GB and rest of EU, and you can add this to your payment. Fedex also available. We pack in-house and ship within a week of payment. Any and all import tariffs + VAT to non-EU countries are the buyers responsibility. GB buyers can expect to pay 5% VAT for Antiques and 20% VAT for other goods to Royal Mail/Fedex - along with their handling charge - prior to delivery. This is a general guide for our buyers and we would advise all bidders to research additional charges and tariffs on imports being shipped to them.

Deliveries will be accepted at our offices by appointment only. Please contact us at 01 4530311 or info@oreillysfineart.com to arrange this. Collection and Delivery drop off hours are between 10 am and 4 pm Monday to Friday.

BIDDING AT AUCTION - Further Terms and Conditions
1. Each Bidder must register, or log in if previously registered, through easyliveauction.com by supplying their name, address, card details, phone and email, together with suitable identification/references on request.
2. You confirm that you are authorised to provide these card details to O’Reilly’s Auction Rooms through easyliveaction.com and agree that O’Reilly’s Auction Rooms are entitled to ship the goods to the card holder's name and address provided in fulfillment of the sale.
3. Whilst every care has been taken in preparing the catalogue, bidders are deemed to have satisfied themselves in every respect, about the lots, before placing a bid and entering a firm contract to purchase Do phone or email us if necessary before you bid!
4. Neither the Vendor nor the Auctioneer are responsible for any representation or statement in the catalogue (printed or online), as to origin, date, age, attribution, genuineness, condition, provenance, authenticity, defaults, faults defects or any errors of description on any lots.
5. The Auctioneer reserves the right to control the bidding and to refuse and/or reinstate any bids
6. The Auctioneer has the right to bid on behalf of the vendor in the case of a reserve. Lots may be withdrawn, divided or grouped at the discretion of the Auctioneer
7. Subject to the discretion of the Auctioneer, at the fall of the hammer, the successful Bidder enters a firm contract to purchase the Lot and become the Buyer of that Lot. This is an auction - there is no sale or return. BIDS PLACED ON LINE constitute a legal contract to buy and CANNOT BE CANCELLED once entered.

11. If payment is not completed within 10 days, any lots purchased by the Buyer may be sold by the Auctioneer and any costs or shortfall must be paid by the Buyer.
